The problem we started from

Across India, events do not run on software. They run on WhatsApp. A wedding, a corporate function, a ten-day Ganeshotsav, the real operations all happen in a group chat: vendors quoting, advances being paid, tasks being promised, a decorator confirming, a sponsor being finalised, someone cancelling the night before.

The group is effectively the operations team. The problem is that it remembers nothing. Everything important is said once and then scrolls away. So one person ends up copying it all into a paper register or a spreadsheet, late at night, after the fact. That re-typing is pure waste, and it is where mistakes and missing entries are born.

What we built

Niyojan reads the group you already use and structures it for you. An AI layer understands the messages, including Hinglish and Marathi, and turns them into a live picture: vendor payments and quotes logged against the right vendor, commitments turned into tracked tasks with owners, and last-minute escalations surfaced instead of buried. For Ganesh mandals, the same engine keeps a live ledger of vargani, expenses, and cash and bank.

The point is that nobody has to change how they work. There is no new app to install, no forms to fill, and no training before the event. People keep messaging exactly as they do today. The intelligence sits quietly on top.

How we think about it

Two principles guide everything. First, meet people where they already are. The best tool is the one nobody has to be convinced to adopt, and in India that tool is WhatsApp. Second, privacy by design: each organisation gets its own isolated, encrypted session, Niyojan only reads the groups you connect, and your data is never shared across companies.
